It's Snow Time ornament

I wanted to do a hand made ornament that my 7 y/o daughter could do. This is my first one, I will have her do some this week. I hand stamped my snow man from It's Snow Time (retiring this month) using StazOn on a piece of acetate.
I then colored in the Santa using StazOn and an old blender pen. I also used an old blender pen to color white craft on the opposite side where I colored in the red. I then embossed with white embossing powder over the white ink. Just be careful and don't hold the heat tool too close, go slow.

I got out my Coluzzle and cut at the 5th circle from the middle. Make sure you leave a tab at the top so it can be held in place.

Then roll up the image with the tab in the middle. Place inside the clear ornament.

Pour some glitter in, and top with a bow. Voila!! An easy ornament that your kids can do, or that you can give to friends or family.
I used one of my favorite winter time sets......Don't miss out on buying it! Once the new catalog comes out it's gone forever!!
I really liked making this ornament! I hope you make one too!

I bought a bunch of clear glass ornaments and have them sitting in my stash. My plan was to do one of these acetate floating ornaments I just never got up the motivation to do the measurements necessary. Thanks for posting such complete directions. I'm off to make a snowman...now if I can just find the glittery shredded paper I also bought last year!

You're welcome! The directions I used were where you used the companion coluzzle and you go between 4 & 5, but the measurements were so close together I thought you could still use the 5th circle. But, if you have the companion to the circle you should probably use the one between 4 and 5. I would hate for you to do it and not have it fit. The only thing, is the one I did was a little tight, so if anything I think you could do the 4th hole. Let me know how it comes out! I would love to see it!
