Tutorial-Dryer Sheet Card

I had my stamping free time at the Kernersville Library, we play downstairs in the Senior Center.  Today wasn't a 'class' per se, it was a time where I help whoever comes with what they are working on, or answer any questions they might have.
Some how we got on the subject of dryer sheets......don't ask me how!  I told them that I knew of this very pretty technique that has you use USED dryer sheets on cards.  After 'trying' to explain how to do it, they sent me home to come up with a tutorial so they could SEE it!  LOL  So, in essence, they gave ME the teacher, homework!  LOL

First off you stamp your image on a neutral piece of cardstock.  I had in my mind that I wanted layers, so I cut my neutral down to 3 3/4" X 5".  I then stamped my images (Wild Rose) all over the CS using Bravo Burgandy and for the leaves I used Always Artichoke.  I stamped off first image so that the one that is the 2 step came out darker.

Then you will want to get your used dryer sheet.  Spray adhesive on one side.  I used Krylon spray adhesive.

Once you have it sprayed, (do this outside! you don't want the smell or adhesive getting in the house).  Then you will lay it down on your already stamped image.  Smoothe out over CS.

Trim the edges.  I then went in with Dazzling Diamonds and sprinkled it all over dryer sheet.  It sticks straight to it!

After this step, I went in and used a corner punch and made decorative edges.  I layered the stamped CS onto a Piece of Bravo Burgandy and then on Apricot Appeal.   I then stamped Love You using the small script stamp set.  And finished it off with a piece of Burgandy Ribbon!!  Here is the finished card!

I hope you like it!  Now send a card to my house in Kernersville using this technique.  HeeHee!!  Nah!  As much as I would love to get some of your cards, I would rather you make them, take a picture for me, and send them to someone who will cherish it!  I know I would, but I want to teach you how to make these wonderful creations and have a loved one receive a handmade card from YOU!!   So?  What do you think?
