Scrapbook pages- january class
I just love my scrapbook class!! Everyone loves the pages I make for them to copy and we have so much fun!! This last class we did another Christmas page. I used the Sizzix snowflake #2 and then we put chunky glitter in two colors on it!!
I thought this made it look cold!!!
I don't know about you guys, but when I was a kid and even now with my family, we would go out and cut down our Christmas trees. So, I used the Loads of Love and put a Christmas tree in the back. Everyone in my class got to choose if they wanted a man or a woman driving the truck. It was so much fun to listen to the why's of the choice they made!! LOL

Then I taught them how to make their own puffy snow!! I had just learned it myself and was so excited to show them how to do it! PLUS, it saves on going to the craft store and 'trying' to find it!! The recipe: equal parts of salt and all purpose flour and then a little bit of water to make it the right consistency. You need it to be a little thicker than pancake mix.
After heating it with the heat tool (just until it puffs a little and cooks), we put some 2-way glue and then Dazzling Diamonds over it. It looks BETTER than the puffy stuff you can buy! PLUS it is harder so you don't have to worry about it getting squished in your book.
I also had us use some white gel pen to put 'snow' on the trees.
Here are the pages put together. I used the word Believe in the headline because I had the stars on there and to Believe in the miracle of Christ for Christmas. We got to use the cutter tool to make the wavy parts of the page, and that was a lot of fun!! I hope you like them, and I hope that you will decide to join us for this class. We do a two page spread which is different each month. We meet at my home in Kernersville on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Make sure you let me know if you are coming! I need to make sure I have enough paper for everyone.

Have a great Stamping Day!!
