This card also uses the new Tecturz backgrounds from Sizzix and SU!   It is a great and easy way to do backgrounds. 
For the Rooster I used Bashful Blue and then did the Rock and Roll technique with Riding Hood Red ink.  I embossed the words in the background so it adds some texture to the picture.  The colors I used are Bashful Blue, Not quite Navy, Garden Greeen and Riding Hood Red.  Remember this set is a Hostess set (level one) and you can get it FREE!!  I also used black brads to frame that cute Rooster!!!!
