Camp LeJeune-Cards for the Troops

This last weekend, my family and I went to Camp LeJeune to make cards with the Families of the Marines that were recently deployed.  We had a great time, and I think they did too!  There were a lot of women coming in with their kids and they ALL made cards!  There was also a Marine, and boy! did he love doing this, and he made his own designs!  Below I will be showing you some of the cards they made.  I am also going to have the pictures of them working on the cards.  Thank you to everyone who has helped out with this endeavor, and don't forget to come out on the 20th of June (it's almost here!) to help put the cards together!

Here are just a few of the families who joined us this weekend.  The baby is only 2 weeks old!!  The father was deployed right before he was born.  I have to say though, this baby was so good!  He didn't cry at all!!

Here are some of the cards they made:

Aren't these great?!!   I felt so blessed to be able to bring some happiness to these families and help them do something for their Loved ones.

We have all the cardstock we need now!  Yeah!!  But, we are still in need of the envelopes to put them in.  If you can help please feel free to donate.  Thank you again for all who have helped already!!

Hope you have a great Stampin' Day!!
