Halloween

Who doesn't like Halloween?!!  I LOVE making pages that showcase how much fun my kids have with Halloween!  My Daughter's face when she is doing the pumpkins and then seeing them all lit up, is priceless!

I am having my scrapbooking class tonight at my home in Kernersville NC and tonight we are doing a Halloween page!  I love the idea of doing the page BEFORE you Trick and Treat so then you know how many pictures you need, and which angle you need to take them!  Smart, aren't I?!!  LOL    I think Stampin' Up!'s Elegant Eggplant is a great color to use for Halloween, it just lends a spooky nature to the page.

I made clouds using the Frames Scallop Sizzix Die, I cut acetate and then sponged around the OUTSIDE edge, this gives you the outer edges of clouds, and the more you move the template the more cloudy it looks!   If this doesn't make any sense to you, hop on over to my house tonight and let's make this page!    I'm also sneaky!    The stamp sets I used are from SU! and they are:  House of Haunts, Graveyard Gala and Branch Out (this stamp set is SO versatile!)    I also used Stampin' Up!'s Wheels Frightful Fence and Haunting.  Wheels just make it so easy!

The middle of the pages have the Black 5/8" ribbon and then some Purple ribbon on top of that.   For the first page I added a moon, and I got that from cutting a 1 1/4" circle in some acetate with the Cirlce Scissors Plus.  VERY handy to have!   Once I had my circle in the acetate I used that as a template too, and just went around the circle using SU!'s Yo Yo Yellow!!  Easy Peasy!!!   I also used the Small Oval Punch (also by SU!) and then layered them to make the pumpkin, the stem is a tip of the 5 Petal Punch that I just snipped to make the stem.  Let me know what you think!!  You're awfully quiet!!

Have a Great Stamping Day!!
