Lovely as a Tree Christmas card
I know that SU!'s stamp set Lovely as a Tree has been out there FOREVER but I still love it! I know so many people who when the retiring list comes out are terrified that this stamp set is on it!! It is so versatile and as the name says it's LOVELY!! I decided to use it today after I saw a handmade card by Cindy B. She did such an awesome job I only changed one thing.
I hand stamped the tall tree on a piece of SU!'s Black cardstock using Craft White ink. I then let that dry and put the Whisper White piece of paper into the Sizzix using the Exclusive to Stampin' Up! embossing folder Finial Press. This is such a cool folder!! I used the Scallop Edge punch on my Rich Razzleberry paper. Tied some gold elastic thread around the embossed paper and then put a bow on using the White Organza Ribbon. Of course I added some 2 way glue to parts of the tree and then put some Dazzling Diamonds on. To top it off I put some half pearls from the Pretties Kit on and this card was done! It took all of 5 minutes to make!!

Isn't this a pretty card? It reminds me of the Christmas trees I saw in Southern California that were flocked when I was a kid. I always wanted one, but my parents weren't as fond of them as I was. I love when things trigger happy memories, don't you? Well, once again I would like to hear from you on whether or not you liked this card. Don't be shy!!
Have a Happy Stamping Day!
