Turkey Day

I had my scrapbook class last night, and we made some Thanksgiving pages!  I made my own whimsical 'Turkey' so keep that in mind when you see him.    He looks like he isn't sure he likes this whole thing.

I used the Specialty Designer Series Paper from SU! - The Write Stuff for the Designer paper.  The Sizzix came in handy for the 'Turkey', the Title and the leaves.    For the Turkey I used the Little Leaves (leaves) for the turkey tail.  The leaves come from the Leaves #2.  The Sizzix is one of my BEST BUYS!  If you would like one for Christmas I am running a special!  Contact me for further information.

I TOLD you he was whimsical!   I also used a piece of the leaves cut out for his waddle.  The feet were hand cut.  So?  Do you think he is cute?

For the leaves, after I cut them out with the Sizzix I used the same color Stampin' Up! marker (which in this case is: Soft Suede) and then sponged the same color.  I used Ruby Red, Really Rust  and More Mustard.

Everyone loved the pages and I'm looking forward to taking pictures next week and putting them on the page!!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted much in the last week, my Husbands birthday was last week and then our Wedding Anniversary (21!) was the next day.  We took a couple of days off!  I am back now, and will post every day this week (well, from here on out!).

Have a Great Stamping Day!
