Kristi's wedding dress
I am going to show you a 2 page scrapbook layout of my Daughter having her fitting in her wedding dress. I am so excited for her to get married! Adam is such a great guy (Marine), and you might remember the time I was looking for help in sending Cards to Adam and all the troops he was with. We ended up sending out 10,000 cards!! Thank you once again for helping in that!
There are so many pictures I wanted to include in these pages, so there isn't much room for embellishing. I am going to show you how I got around that, and was still able to jazz it up!!
The first page I layered each picture with red Cardstock (color of her bridesmaids), and for the embellishment I printed off the story of how/why we chose that dress onto Vellum Cardstock. I didn't cut the Vellum around the story, I left some underneith so I could dry emboss flowers and add the red color.
I took the new SU! punch Extra Large Fancy Flower and punched out a flower from chipboard. I put this punched chipboard on the front side of the Vellum and then turned the vellum over (so the chipboard is under the vellum and you can see it) and traced the flower with an empressor, moving the flower along the page, making sure that I overlapped the flowers. I then punched out a 3/4" Circle from the chipboard and put that in the mddle of each flower and embossed that too. Using the same circle punch I punched out white to go underneith also. This way the embossing is going towards the front. Once done with embossing I sponged some Real Red ink from Stampin' Up! using a Dauber on the back making sure that the edges were a little darker. Once I put this on the White Cardstock of the page, it Popped!! It's a very simple technique, but it sure is pretty!!!
Once I placed down my pictures and had the vellum where I wanted it, I put some glitter glue in the center of each flower to add some more bling.
I also used adhesive UNDER where the white circles are, so the adhesive didn't show through the vellum.
I also had some rhinestones handy, and since her dress is FULL of them, I put some on the page! It adds a great accent and even more of the sparkle that you KNOW that I love!!
I just used some of the Tombo Multi liquid glue and placed the Rhinestones on top of the tiny dot I made, and it is sticking like it was always there!!
The second page I used an 8 1/2" piece of Real Red cardstock to cut out a lot of the blankness on the page, and for this page I didn't have room to layer cardstock under each picture. To the right of the page I also put some rhinestones to bring the two pages together. You can see how I only used a few to do the corner on this page and also used some on the side.
You want your pages to flow, especially if you have a 2 page spread.
Here is a picture of the two finished pages:

I think I did a great job, especially since I wanted to make sure I used all the pictures.
What do you think? By leaving a comment for me today and through the 12th of April, you will be entered into a drawing to win the Snow Buddies set from SU!
If you are like me, you CAN'T have enough snow pages OR snowmen stamps!!
Good luck to all who enter!!
Have a Great Stamping Day!

I think that it is a beautiful page, just enough to accent but the highlight is on her. What a great layout!
