Porch View
Today's card is one I did at my girlfriend Karen's house, she got the idea online from Emily Lorelli. I love the idea, and followed her plan on doing the porch, but I wanted just a hill outside and having vines hanging down from the top of the porch. I would love to have water as the view, but I will have to try that later.
I drew the porch and then colored it in using a Crumb Cake marker. The lines from coloring in make a good wood grain. I then went over the porch with a Versamarker and Clear embossed it. This way the flowers will be behind the porch. You can just wipe off the rails and it is as good as new!
I hope you like this! It was fun to make!

Once you emboss your porch it is really easy to make your landscape. I would love to see what you can do!!

Really like this card. Hope we can make it in class sometime. It is like a porch with a view. Can see using it for many kinds of cards or even a shower invitation.

Lisa,
I love the card you did at Karen's. What a neat idea. It reminds me of sitting on the front porch of my great grandmaw's when I would go to the montains with my grandmother during the summer. Thanks for the chance to win the Bday set.
